Each tour is customized by its storyteller guide, who will add to the spooky ambiance with authentic Victorian garb. You'll visit a selection of Gettysburg's creepiest locations, which may include the Haunted Creek Bed, the Dobbin House, the Jennie Wade House, the Orphanage, the Evergreen Cemetery, the Lincoln Cemetery, and the Grove. As you walk, your guide will offer insights into the bloody Civil War battle that Gettysburg is most known for, as well as some of the haunted stories that dominate local urban legend. • Xtreme Ghost Hunt Challenge

  Duration: 3 hours; $58. Got a competitive spirit? Good news, since victory during this spooky challenge goes to the one who brings the boo-oom! Split into two separate teams and hit the streets in search of Gettysburg's supernatural side. Each team is assigned five points, and the winner at the end of the four-hour competition is the team that has the most points left over at the end of the night. In order to keep your points, you will need to prove you have major guts. Compete in challenges such as hanging out by your lonesome in a haunted basement, or snooping through a creepy attic. Thinking of cheating? A live camera feed will make sure teams stay on the up-and-up, in addition to providing some funny footage for review later on. There will even be prizes for the winning team. For example, you get to keep your soul. Seriously, have these people never watch a scary movie in their lives?

• Xtreme Ghost Hunt

  Duration: 3 hours; $55. You know what's scary? Ghosts. With the largest number of casualties of any battle during the Civil War, it's no wonder that Gettysburg is home to numerous urban legends detailing spooky sightings. You'll be hunting for a few ghosts of your own during this three-hour evening exploration. Work with actual ghost hunters from the Gettysburg Paranormal Association using state-of-the-art ghost gear such as FLIR thermal imaging, full spectrum video, EMF detectors, and a spirit communications device (Ovulis) that modulates energy field changes into audible speech. Say what? In addition to public venues, you will visit both private indoor and outdoor locations that are supposed to be paranormal hotspots. You'll also get a DVD of your experience, a certificate commemorating your nerves of steel, and a glossy group photo. Plus photos, videos, and evp sessions mailed, just in case you'd like to review the evidence later on. It's going to be super. Supernatural, that is.
